GIG supports and try to encourage members to collaborate on propasla writing and co-create projects. While GIG is not a funder activity, GIG has a legal association that is established in Berlin, Germany. One of the reasons to choose this place for easzblishment was to allow for members to access European and other sources of funding through our German assciation.

GIG staff is financed through its fundraising efforts, and we do so mostly by winning EU Horizon projects. In our work packages, we include activities that would allow us to hire GIG members worldwide to provide us with paid services as consultants. also in specific calls we have GIG members joining as consortium partners, i.e. mAkE
